Check Out Charm City: Weekend Guide

It is the last Friday of the month, which means Baltimore Bike Party!! It is also their 1 year anniversary of launching Baltimore Bike Party; they have come from 70 riders to hundreds and hundreds more. This month’s theme is “Bike Prom” so break out that old prom dress or throw on a tuxedo t-shirt. They will be meeting at the usual spot, the Washington Monument, at 7PM. You can find the route on their facebook page. The afterparty will be at the Pratt Street Ale House.

If exercising in a dress is not your thing, check out the Food Truck Gathering at McHenry Row from 5-10PM. There will be music by the Crawdaddies and food from your favorite Baltimore Food trucks like the Gypsy Queen, GrrChe, Iced Gems and more!! You can buy a discounted wristband online beforehand to save some money on brewskis.

As for tomorrow, I am personally quite sad that I wasn’t quick enough to buy a ticket for the first ever Charm City Folk & Bluegrass festival being held at Union Craft Brewery, but not to worry, there is plenty to do otherwise! If you still want to get your Union Craft fix, you can find plenty of it at the City Paper Annual Brew Fest in Fells Point going from 1-5PM.

Or you could head over to the FashionEASTa event in Harbor East. From 1-6PM you can enjoy in-store specials, live entertainment, cocktails and light fare from Harbor East Restaurants, while taking in all that is Spring fashion.

And to top off your night, head over to Gallery 788 for an exhibition of motorcycles and art featuring local artists / pretty bad-ass ladies with American flags. The closing reception will go from 7-11PM.
